what's the point of interviews?

I have same think as well. One time I was getting bored over and over..., when after races interviews asked me only and only about "team orders in race", when my garuda drivers dominated races.

I've been able to get some better drivers from interviews, if they ever have a bad race (crash etc) or potentially even a good race sometimes, it asks if you'd consider taking them, if you say they're great/it was just a one off etc, you almost guarentee them being interested.

Some interviews produce positive stuff, like the team orders ones can for example, can butter up other drivers, lower other teams marketability etc

But yeah they need a LOT more variation in interviews they are mostly very boring, adds a bit of fluff/flavour though i guess. But I was never a fan of them even in FM which this has copied somewhat

Yeah! Was able to get this one driver I had my eye on for a while already, but who refused to even consider my offer before. The interview changed her mind and I got this amazing driver afterwards. Absolutely worth it!


That said, I agree with the general opinion, that interviews could be improved a lot and made more varied n impactful.

All they ever do is make chairman lose happiness....I always reject especially if you arent finishing well or having money problems
