Promotion and relegation was turned off?

Promotion is active to give you the full Motorsport Manager experience.

I understand this. But for me, seeing Sauber on the Indy Car Series doesn't make sense.

But I can see why people keeps the promotion on their mods.

Yeah, that's the decision we have made to let people work their way with their own team through the championships.
Ever thought that HAAS maybe driving in Indycar and not Sauber ;)

Is there any way that I could change ONLY this aspect of your MOD?
Like launching a alternative version or something else?

I read that I could change the % of the AI chance to accept promotion on one of the game files but I couldn't find that.

I tried the mod out and i love the amount of stuff you put in there guys. Aaaand i like the promotions, so i can take BMW and make them a F1 Team again :D

Yeah, funny that you mention, we took BMW in for Andretti because Andretti is already in Indy and since the formula E team works close with BMW, that was the right call i guess.

This mod looks awesome, can't wait to start my career with it!

BTW, I'd also like to see promotions off, as it affects the immersion as Kadaj said. Hopefully you'll make it an option :)

Yeah basically, you just need to change a "TRUE" in the championships.txt to "FALSE". You can do that in the mod folder by yourself, start the career and this save will always be promotions OFF.
