Why does my driver crash?

If I put Miss Lara on Attacking style and (Super) Overtaking Engine Mode, she is highly likely to crash within 2-3 laps. I estimate about 7 out of 10 times.
My other driver does not have this issue.

What driver stat causes this?

Mostly bad luck mate, i also have E.Lara in 7 races she has 2 podiums 102 pts, 0 crashes, only once did she make contact with an other car and get a driver through.

Im in ERS, in my 3rd season btw.

That said i dont often have her on attack style or overtake engine mode (never tried on super overtake)

Anyway, I think the stat you're looking for us Focus.

thats a mixed bag, one race qi crashes 2 laps into a race on red on both, the next race shes gone rogue and full red there and lasts almost an entire stint before changing her status a lower push setting.

Sometimes it can be just luck of the draw, othertimes it could be focus, but i would imagine smoothness also plays a minor factor, because a driver more aggressive in the use of their car not only wears the tyres out more but is capable of causing an unforced error or outbraking them selves.

also was on the milan race once and restarted it a few times, in any event rogers was on full push in a rival team, he slide off the track twice within 2 laps in 2 restarts, on the third he did the same but he made it through the stint.

But Lara (or at least, my Lara) has smoothness 20...
She is the best on tyres I have had in my post-DLC career, always can go a bit longer on a set than my other drivers.

Focus is the stat tat affects crashes. But regardless just sounds like a run of bad luck.

This. Focus is the stat, but I once had a 16 focus driver crash 3 out of 4 races. Things happen. Other 16 focus drivers I have had have never crashed in dozens.

I have Lara in my current game and she is comfortably the crashiest drive I have had. It's not a major issue but she crashes out two or three times a season whereas no other driver I have had in various games has crashed more than once a year. My final season in the European series she literally won every race with fastest laps except the three she crashed out of on the first lap.
