Deleting save files in bulk

I've got nearly a gigabyte of save files that I don't need anymore. Is there a way of deleting them all without having to to select them (and get the prompt) one-by-one in game?

Resurrecting this old post, but I have to clarify -

deleting the files on your machine wont last, right& Because next time you launch, the saves will be restored from the cloud. So what is the solution? How to get rid of all the old saves permanently?

Disable cloud saves from steam options.
