- Steinmann start with the best car and especially the best engine, which means that if the player starts in the WMC they are destined to win the first season (an auto-simulated WMC may go against them however).
- Rossini and Kitano both start with the Road Car Factory, ensuring that neither team is too broke to develop the car due to the huge income generated. It doesn't solve Kitano's short-term problems but should ensure that they don't relegate if controlled by the AI.
- Even Windsor may have better long-term prospects if all teams are AI controlled, because they probably have the 2nd best car at the start due to how important that engine is, but lack the driver pairing to take full advantage of it for now.
And this was what season? Though it would be good that the big names remain in the highest level, this is still fantasy after all.
The more peculiar thing is that Chariot (Marussia) has shockingly strong long run potential if they can survive the first season. In both of my longer runs they stuck with Stevens and Merhi, yet both times they got in among the top 5 teams, even taking 3 poles with Merhi in 2022 in my main save and genuinely outdeveloping me.
Steinmann were super strong in 2025, starting to fade in 2026 and in 2027 are actually sitting down in 5th in the table after the first few races. Rossini have come second , 1st and 1st and are the team with all the pace they've had like 19poles in a row now. Panther have come 2nd in each of those seasons by virtue of good average points per driver but only have won maybe 1 or 2 races each season.
Windsor, Rezzo , Chariot are all back markers though Chariot has moved up in my current season to mid table.
Kitano has been variable up high occasionally but, haven't really had a consistently strong season.
I meant on what season they fall into Asia series (tier 2)?
Ok, that is pretty early. But hey, it's possible with bad choices and maybe some bad luck. Though I understand it can be immersion braking if you aim for realism (if using mods, because Panther team is a fantasy team and it's not that weird to find it in tier 2 ;) )
