Excellent dive into Nordic lore and the grim parts of human psychology. Listening to the chaos swarming in Senua's unraveling mind was a cathartic—and all too familiar—experience for me. Senua's perseverance, despite the suffocating darkness she faces, is an inspiration.

Not for the faint of heart. Play it with a controller and headphones with spatial audio.

Can't wait to start the sequel. ⚔️

When on special, I would 100% recommend the game, but if it is full price you are better of buying another game, like hollow knight

The story is intense, game play is very much a guided walk-through with a few off track explorations to uncover more story. Mechanics are very expected once familiar. Fight scenes are theatrical and the over shoulder action makes for a very cinematic experience. I go back and play chapters just for a getaway. Something pleasing and calm in the chaos and emotion.
