What happens if I select a previously played chapter?

Hi there, really enjoying the game. I just finished the shard labyrinth, so not very far into the game I think. However, I now understand how to read my lorestone progress and I am noticing that I am missing a few.

when I go to chapter select, I notice that some chapters it says 4/5 lorestones collected. My question is: if I select to replay a chapter to collect the missing lorestones, will that reset my progress and I now have to continue playing from the chapter? Or can I simply get the missing lorestones, and then continue from where I last left off, which is right after the shard labyrinth?

No it won't reset the whole progress and you can replay any chapters you've already reached.
Also you don't have to play the whole chapter till the end when finding lorestones. You'll only need to reach the next savepoint and then you can exit or load another chapter.
