While your theory might be correct I still think that was Senua's father. I think there are three key points in Druth's last tale: "A man in black", "He was offered safe passage for his treason" and "Those closest to us".
1. "A man in black". Correct me if i am wrong but Dillion wasn't shown as the man wearing black cloak during the whole game when Zynbel was wearing black druid cloak.
2. "He was offered safe passage for his treason". From these words i believe that vikings let Zynbel go and we know that Dillion was brutally killed. Could vikings betray Zynbel and kill him as well? I think there is no clue of that in the game.
3. "Those closest to us". Senua had just two people who really cared about her: Senua's mother Galena and Dillion. However, i think Druth did not know real relationship between Senua and Zynbel. We can take family tree for example: the closest persons are mother, father...and soulmate (fiance/husband in this case). Theoretically speaking, Zynbel is one of the closest person's in Senua's life despite the fact that he was the monster in her life. We have left only Dillion who was the CLOSEST person to Senua (keeping in mind that Galena was already killed). So we have these two sides here: a father and THE SOULMATE. The only question is how we see things and what we want to believe?
Is it just me or Druth = Truth?
Of course, it's entirely possible that the head stays in the bag just because showing it would be a step too gruesome for the devs.
