Can't beat Valravyn Fight

I was enjoying this game, but I can't beat this fight. I usually get it to the point where there's heaps of enemies surrounding you and either I end up getting killed there (I find it hard because the camera seems to be locked so I can't look around for enemies spawning behind me), or I almost get Valravyn in the final fight but I can't quite get past him. I've tried with it on Auto and Easy settings but no joy. It's even worse because where it restarts is where he's about to hit you, so even if you spam block or dodge he often gets a strike or two in before you can even act. Not sure what it is about this particular fight but I'm thinking I'm going to end up being sent back to the beginning at this point which would be frustrating. Is there a way to skip a fight/cheat mode just to get through this?

What helped me was after you spawn back in, keep evading backwards away from it. (S and Space bar). Hope this helps, games def worth finishing.

pro tip: keep your subtitles turned on and whenever you see the line "behind you" just spam evade with space bar.In the heat of the battle,it can be hard to hear the voices sometimes but they can help you a lot to time your moves perfectly (they'll even tell you when to use your focus).Also dont block/guard frequently,time them right (hit guard when you see the weapon is about to hit you NOT when you see them charging or swinging it) and you can do the combo moves/slashes.

Thanks for the tips! I haven't had a chance to play it again yet so I'll try all those suggestions also! I probably am blocking too early at times and I'll turn the subtitles on to see if that helps with evading when I need to.

Play with headphones so you can hear the hints (block now! its behind you! etc). but also use a bit of strategy. pick off the weaker ones first with a parry and heavy attacks. when you get hit and are in survival mode just back off and dodge until you can activate focus to get health back.

when enemies appear, pick them off quickly and pretty much ignore the boss. You dont want them to pile up. Make sure you know all your buttons. The change enemy target is very important for moving as your movement is based off the enemy you are looking at. Always try to position yourself so that its mostly 1v1. Listen to the voices they can give very obvious clues for when to block or focus or if something is attacking from behind you. You have quick attacks, heavy attacks, running attacks and melee attacks. Different enemies will require different strategies. But for this battle it should be mostly block and strike or dodge and strike. There will also come a time when you must focus on Valravyn to attack him.
