Performance Issues?
So I played this on PS4, saw the deal on Steam and bought it again.

My PC should easily be able to run this in 4K without issues, but. Right away there's problems with the visuals being really blurry when I turn the camera.

I googled it and saw other people having performance issues with good rigs. I've tried launching normally and without prerequisites, changing the quality of the graphics and nothing seems to help.

Is this game just not optimized well? I saw someone post a launch command to utilize all cores and dx10, but I haven't tried that yet.

Does your GPU support ray tracing and DX12? Those are on by default.
I am running on HIGH using DX 11 and the game runs great. Old GPU that doesnt support Ray Tracing and DX12

Yeah, it does. I turned off Ray tracing and even tried picking dx11 in the game. Turning off Ray tracing makes a difference, but that's normal for just about any game in my case.

I haven't tried force launching it with the
-dx11 thing on Steam yet, though. Doesn't hurt to try.

Other than that, I've messed with the settings and no matter what resolution, it blurs the same way when turning the camera.

I tried forcing dx11 and messed around with window sizes, then went deleted that command to revert to my normal settings. It's for some reason working a little better. My frames are stable, but it's just a little blurry when spinning the camera. Not as much anymore for some reason, but I think I can live with it.

Maybe the game just needs to run for a bit or something. I can live with it.

Could be that cache building stuttering that happens?
Or just another bad PC port.
Remember, even if your PC is from the year 2077, there will be games that run badly because companies only care about console sales

I played this a few months ago in Gamepass and it had alot of stuttering sadly. I´m on 4090 and 7800X3D.

Yeah that could have been it. It's feels/looks better now. It could be better but with how the gameplay is, it's just fine.

For me, it wasn't stuttering, but just looked really blurry when turning the camera. It's a lot better for me now, though.

just started this game on a razer blade 14 2021 ryzen 9 nvidia rtx 3080 with a WD SN850X ssd, and it's disappointing to be noticing some performance hiccups and stutters. Unfortunate. I'll try disabling ray tracing and will try the command to command to utilize all cores and maybe switch to directx 11.....

You never heard of motion blur before? It's hidden under post process settings.

I’m on 4090 TUF w/ Ryzen 9 5900x and experience stutters a lot too.

I also bought it again to get prepared for the sequel. Was a great experience on PlayStation when it first came out.

7800X3D + RTX 4090 and horrible performance with Ray Tracing turned on at any quality setting.

I've never had luck with Ray Tracing on. Always have to turn it off, but. Maybe the game needs to be restarted, or just be on for a bit so it loads everything (or something).

Mine works good now and I didn't do anything besides fiddle with settings here and there at the beginning. I ended up back at 3840x2160 with everything on High, and Ray Tracing off and it works good with no dips in frames after 10+ hours.

So maybe/hopefully the game just needs to run for a minute.

7700k, SSD 4th gen. RAM set to EXPO6000, RTX4090 factory settings@ 4k RT on, everything on max, whole game ran 60 fps stable except when I got to the end fight with two face, there my 4090 just couldnt keep up got as low as 10fps :wasted: (must mention that I had some stutter with some cutscenes in 1 of the latter chapters.)
