Gramr can seemingly be reforged before completing all trials.

On my 2nd playthrough I noticed that Druth told me that Gramr is now reforged after only the 3rd of 4 trials. The 3rd trial I completed was the one that starts with the "stink of rot". The trial I had remaining after Druth claimed the sword was reforged was the blindness trial.

Now I can't say for sure if I can claim Gramr without completing the blindness trial(I didn't even try), because I did complete it before claiming Gramr. However Druth definitetly talks about it well before all the trials are complete.

Don't you have Gramr from the start of second playthrough?

Maybe it's a bug related to that. Maybe you can claim it without doing any trials?

You don't start with Gramr on the 2nd playthrough.

You lose your sword when you first face Hela on the bridge and can't claim it without the trials. Trying to claim it only activates the shards as usual.

I have NOT tried to claim it after only three trials though.

Had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday. I ignored Druth and proceeded on to the 4th trial anyway...

I'm 99.9% sure that's a bug that was introduced with the new patch. When the game came out last week I played through it 5 times in a row and I'm sure that Druth never said that I could claim the sword before all 4 trials were done, but I started playthrough number 6 today and after completing 3 of the trials he said I could claim the sword which really stuck out to me as strange. I didn't try to claim the sword though, I just went on to the 4th trial.

I just completed it first time, and I started on the 4 trials after the latest patch + hotfix patch. When I had done the 3rd trial, it said the sword was ready..but I couldn't not take it. First after the 4 trial done I could take the sword. So a bug, but if it was there before the patch I can't tell because I first played the trials part after the patch :) amazingly great game, love it! Good experience.

Finished the game last night (1st run), also noticed that same behaviour from the game. However, I didn't try to get Garm from the tree with only three trials.

same here. Irrelevant. 1, 2 or 3 trials, doesn't matter. It's all in her head anyways...

It actually says in the game the sword was broken into three so when i saw four I was kinda expecting to complete on three and was hoping I wouldn't be locked out of the fourth. I said I could take the sword but i did the 4th trial anyway.

The game tells you can actually take the sword after the third shard, but you actually have to complete all the challenges.

Had the very same and tried to pull out the sword after 3 trials but it is impossible. You have to do all 4 anyway
