They can't add a steam product to a gog library, I give them that, but how they choose to release is not our fault!
There is definitely a way to do this, they can’t just act like they are forced to screw gog players!
As Eisberg already said, you don’t need to run a VR Software in the Oculus launcher for Rift or in steam for Vive, they just have to be open! There are countless examples, like browser applications, the mentioned games on gog or even the countless games on steam you can play on rift.
The easiest they can do is give gog players keys for the VR Version on steam. If they are afraid of people selling their keys, they need to set up some verification process, or release a VR Version or patch on gog.
