Senua is with all her fears and psychosis meant to be a realistic character and so the women has to be realistic. And in my view Senua is one of the most beautiful characters ever in a video game, cause she is a real women. Just like Melina Juergens, the woman who gave Senua her face, is in real life a highly attractive beauty.

Have you ever seen an ugly girl in real life?
you prove exactly my point, even in that strange photograph linked to, the model is much more beautiful than the computer model. you're blind as a bat if you think the computer model is beautiful by any standard.
If you care more about having a sexy face to look at rather than immersion in a game like this, go play a jrpg and dress up in some lingerie like you usually do and have fun jerking it to those sick grafics.
Don't know why I'm bothering to say this but news flash: YOU'RE NOT REQUIRED TO BE ATTRACTED TO HER!!
You realize the repugnant things you're saying causes people to kill themselves, right?
Senua does live in a time when dentists weren't a thing and hygiene wasn't how we know it. Plus, she has psychosis, which affects a person's ability to take care of themselves.
There are a lot of good reasons Senua looks the way she does. Most obvious is that she was modeled after their video editor. But another reason is that the original concept, while really good wouldn't been able to sell the mental health issues due to the limited facial expressions.
While the facial expressions are weird, they're a crucial part of selling the character. The old model, I don't think I'd actually believe Senua is suffering as much as she is. I think without the facial expressions, the illness would come off more as a gimmick then the fact she really is that sick. She isn't acting rationally because she can't.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has stated that suggesting so, causes a distorted view of the issue. The most common contribution is undiagnosed depression.
So, the OP might be disgusting, but you're just as ignorant.
