Bug on Helheim Bridge (symbol)

Hello, I am stuck in my progression on the Helheim Bridge. The door with three symbols can't be open because of the last symbol, the X. I can see it, I can focus on it, but nothing happens. Thank you for helping me, it's really not working and I can't progress...

Pretty sure you have to be on highground and look down on that symbol...If I remember right...


Yup, right behind you, go up, then look down through the gate/fence

Looks like you didn't watch his video.
That segment is glitched for him. Stairs are barred. They shouldn't be. He can't go upstairs.

were you looking down to the X or up from the ground at the X? From the ground level, stand to the left of the stairs, face towards the direction of the "symbol locked door" and look up from there.

I have seen that a bug existis on the sequence you are showing. Unfortunately for me, my bug is before that and it seems I am alone with my bug... too sad for me! I really want to finish the story!

were you looking down to the X or up from the ground at the X? Looking up from the ground, while standing to the left of the stairs, towards the direction of the symbol locked door is the right way

I have seen videos on youtube and it seems that my position is right, the script could normally start up but nothing happens...

I found a solution. After getting the X solved go down to the ship at the bow and look at where the stairs is supposed to be. Wait until you get a dialogue saying Focus and align the stairs, then press E. The stairs appear. It is not a bug.
