Took me about 11 hours.

4-6 hours. If you have played Dark Souls try setting the difficulty on hard, as combat may be to easy otherwise.

Don't listen to people saying they beat the game in 4-6 hours, actually there is a lot to follow storywise that you cannot simply enjoy rushing the game, a believable answer is from 7 to 11 hours taking your time and actually playing the game the way is meant to be played, something more if you plan to collect every lorestone in your first playthrough. Personally it took me 9.4 hours (ending credits included) missing just 4 lorestones.

5-6 hours if you just rush towards the objectives. I spent 10+ trying to piece together the clues and figure things out.

The game is heavily narrative and story based, so it's self explanatory.

There isn't anything to rush through cause you're unable to 'block out' dialogue and unable to skip cinematics.

Taking four more hours to figure out what the story is about after beating it means you basically didn't get it at all throughout the playthrough? -- Which is odd, cause as you got closer to the ending, it was pretty obvious and explained the unanwsered portions of it.

I missed a single lorestone, it happened during one of the trials I assume and it was probably the one where you were being chased. I cannot be assed to go through the whole game all over again just to get the extended dialoge before reaching the ending and achievement.

You can skip lorestones, you can skip to hear/see voices/comments/dialogues not as a game option but as a result of your rush, which could lead to invest a lot time after beating the game to figure out what you didn't understand due to your running throughout it with blinders on.
I don't mean you need 4 more hours during the ending phase to understand what you've missed before, I mean taking a slightly slower pace putting every piece togheter step by step instead of running costantly towards your objective.

I'm not an idiot and I didn't waste too much time walking instead of running nor looking too hardly for lorestones, as a matter of fact I missed 4, also I didn't waste too much time actually looking at or hearing everything the game had to show / tell me, nor wondering too much about the story and it took me more than 9 hours, less than 7 hours is a time you can achieve IF you already know almost everything about the game.

Took me 7-8 hours. I didn't rush, but didn't explore it completely either (I missed some lorestones because I didn't get the achievement).

6 hours

Not sure why you're speaking for the other person about the four extra hours. Lars said he beat it in 5-6 hours and pieced the clues of the story together for 10+ hours alltogether.

The fact that I did not skip any of those and still managed to beat the game in 5-6, missing only a single Lorestone only proves my point that it is completely possible without rushing through the game. Still confused on why he would need to piece clues together when there aren't really unanwsered questions due to everything being self explanatory.

The other people that commented in this thread all have around the same time 5~7 hours before they beat it with missing a lorestone or two... The only thing I knew about the game was that this was a heavily story/narrative driven game about a girl that suffers from psychosis, enough for me to beat it in 5~6 hours.

I've just beaten it in 9 but I was taking some time to look at the environment.

Yes champ, as you say. On my second playthough it took me 3 hours just to open first the gate (Valravn and Surtr) rushed as hell, but maybe I'm just getting old.

BTW, Lars "assumes" it could be beatable in 5-6 hours but he said it took him 10+ hours taking his time, TBP.

i've spend 11 hours in my first playthrough. Played on high difficulty (what i recommend to all, the game isn't really hard anyway)

Probably around 30 minutes. The rest is filler(the bad kind.)

I'm personally not interested in your opinion about the content of your head, nor I think the OP is or anyone else as well.
