[BUG] Can't leave Valravn area

I beat Valravn and the exit isn't opening. I backtracked to get the last 2 runes, and when I got back to the exit, which I assume it is. It won't open so I could travel through the door I opened. I did do the fire god first which might have caused it. I really don't want to restart, really want some help. I have a feeling that it might be another "illusion" at first but it's seeming to just be a bug.

I'm running into a similar issue. I already had to start the game over again because after quitting and playing again later, I couldn't get the Valravn area to trigger again with the rune search, so I was stuck. Restarted 2nd time and tried to do Valravn first, and now that I've defeated the area, I can't continue. I'm just running through all the Valravn areas and there's no way to get out...

Grrrr... do I have to start over from the beginning, again? Is this a bug? Or am I not finding the way out? The previous time, I know it was a bug for sure, I would focus on the door and nothing would happen, I couldn't get the ravens to light up to begin the section.

I already beat him. So I assume this is just a random bug, the part where I foguth the fire god first doesn't have anything to do with it.

Guys, seriously, after you beat a boss you don't have to activate anything anymore, just use your memory to find your way back, often there are shortcuts, but, even if you shouldn't find them, you can always follow the way you came from to get back, it's not about bugs, it's just top-tier level design combo-ed with top-tier graphics, it could lead you to loose yourself in the environment.

Yes it IS a bug, i am having the same problem the door to leave the area is suppose to be open when deafeating him but for some reason it's closed which it shouldn't be doesnt seem to be any kind of way to fix this.

Not sure if this will help but, If you go left instead and intot he little covered area immediatly after you exit the area you foguth Valravn, there is a ledge to your immediate right that you can clip through and it gets you out. I admit I did not get back to the gate to Hella like this, I circled around back to the place were I fought Valravn instead. however it might let you go back to the main gate aswell.

The first gate is the one bugged. For you in the video you had it open, that one is closed for me

And are you absolutely 100% sure there is no other exit from the area ?

Cause I believe there is the exit from where you came from AND another one which is usually a shortcut to get back to the main portal..

Ok, so I may have not explained it correctly, the door is the very first door AFTER killing Valravn. It's not open. I really don't want to start a new game.

Maybe I haven't explained myself well, did you search for ANOTHER exit ?

Yes, it's the only exit, I have been searching for an exit for hours. It's good level design but it's a linear game, it's impossible to get lost. It's literally the door after you beat Valravn. it's closed.

Yes I have, I even thought maybe you have to use those illusion portals to create an exit, I even tweeted at the devs hoping for answers, even a "There is another exit" but heard nothing.
