Can you bypass the door/puzzle mechanics?
I liked the game but the puzzles to open the door were frustrating/tedious. I've probably spent half of my gameplay time on trying to do the focus puzzles than progressing through the game so I refunded it. I just want to kill things and go through story.

But you just became that guy..?

Regardless, I only bought the game because of the Viking theme and potential good story. Im a casual to pretty much all game genres aside from fps and with Most players being "casual" and this being PC, I figured there would be a mod of some sort.

I didn't know the game would be based around Blues Clues mechanics which is just a waste of time to me.

No Cen7ral is right, the only reason this mechanism exists is to make you look at the beautiful world and not be a 2 hour long game, which I'm for by the way.

However, the red flashy text floating around in the specific area where to find the rune kinda takes the "Look at the beautiful world" concept away and the tedius slight movements checking every up and down, basically 360, then move to a new spot and repeat, especially when I can't even look up without it snapping back straight which is EXTREMELY irritating. Obviously a feature for controller not mouse.

Have you ever played Batman Arkham Asylum? You know the Riddler puzzles of making a green question mark by shaping them together via perspective. Now imagine you can't leave the area until you complete those. That...

I'm 65 minutes into playing and the thought of refunding before it's too late came to mind already.

Just ask someone on the forums to tell you the answers for the puzzles. Nothing is more annoying than puzzles in an action game.

Action game? This is more than just an action game. I love puzzles, I beat all the Myst games without cheating except twice on Riven because ♥♥♥♥ Riven (best one but still). These "puzzles" are repetitive by definition. I already beat this puzzle, now it's not even a puzzle, it's Run around look for flashy red symbols and look at different things from different angles until you get it. I really hope the matching Runes isn't through the entire game.

Yeah, in this case the game really isn't meant for you. it is meant for a different target audience that you are not a part of.

so far with me, I am able to look at my surroundings and able to see what object is a part of the symbol I am looking for. So it becomes more about getting in the right position to make the shape that is needed and not about just getting lucky and looking at the right thing. For example, lets say you are supposed to find an "N" looking symblol, if you look around my might see a tree leaning against another tree, that is a good clue that those trees are a part of the symbol. The example I used is not a specific puzzle in the game by the way.

I have been doing that until I came across the "R" symbol and there's a couple houses in ruins and none of the shapes of the houses have angles I can find for both right slants of the R. It's not just matching the angles is also the controls are constantly irritating. I wish there was a way to turn it off and feel like a real 1st/3rd person looking around. My patiences is also fighting the controls which is not technically part of the game.

Don't you think the fire lines on the ground are kind of oddly placed? Did you notice that you can go up some stairs in one of the buildings?
So your solution to all this is just giving the answer... Right on... I guess we are powerless to change this anyways
