If you're expecting DMC or Bayonetta, play something else.
So far I'd say the only bad thing I've found about the combat is her movement speed during combat. It feels so slow compared to how fast and fluid the rest of the combat feels. It's not that bad for normal enemies, but annoying for the fast moving boss fights. I found myself constantly right outside of attacking range. The movement in this game is generally awkard and clunky. It's much more noticeable in combat as entering and exiting sprint mode does not feel at all fluid compared to the rest of the combat. Adding to that you'll probably accidently lunge into the enemy on your first attack only because you were trying to get in range.
One pretty cool thing about the narrative is how the voices are usually giving you some good backup during fights. Looking out behind you or giving you hints on what to do in the heat of battle. Without them there'd be a lot of stupid deaths.
No problem. Indeed it's beautiful and very boring. I had to stop i was at a level where everything is dark because she can't see and i have to concentrate to see trough sounds ... walking super slowly. Boring really.
Tammen doesnt know how the make gameplay uctualy good
I didn't enjoy the combat one bit, it felt clunky and basic ♥♥♥♥♥ to me and in turn it ruined the game for me, but each to their own :)
Blasphemy.

The game doesn't want to be a great melee simulator, though.
I wish they would publish what's actually the complete moveset, you'd be surprised.
