1060 would go a long way to increasing your frame rates, you could also overclock your K series CPU closer to 4Ghz.
GTX 770 = 1280x720 at low settings and around 30 FPS. That's what they've tested to be the bare minimum to run their game smoothly.
Consoles are different as they can reduce image fidelity to whatever is needed to obtain that 30 FPS @ 720p. Console performance gives no indication of PC performance as they are entirely different beasts.
no where did they actually say that. and if true this would have to be the most demanding game ever released as no game out there is even remotely so demanding that a 770 can only get 30 fps at 720p on low settings. they list 1280x720 as the minimum resolution supported and you are foolishly translating that to mean the min requirements are for 30 fps on low settings at that res.
of ocurse not. But think what you want, the game will be released on ps4, it means everything, if the game need a 770 to run it in low and 1280 its the biggest joke ever. So think for a second please.
If it's released on PS4 or Nintendo Gamecube it doesn't give any indication how it will perform on PC. The only joke is assuming that the information given to us by the game developers is false.
The game will be able to run at lower resolutions than 720p lol. That's exactly what it means, and has always meant for every game released to date.
Minimum requirements = bare minimum tested to run their game. No one tests their bare minimum on ultra settings 1080p, they use low settings 720p and aim for at least 30 FPS (the bare minimum needed for gaming).
Minimum spec screen resolution = the screen resolution used when testing their minium spec system.
In this case the GTX 770. The word "spec" would not be there if it was the minimum screen resolution supported by the game.
Lastly, it's possible they simply never tested any lower end GPUs than the 770 as less extensive testing tends to be the norm with console port type games.
Welcome to the real world kids. Where minimum really means minimum, console ports perform poorly on PC and a GTX 770 2GB is considered slow.
The minimum 8GB of RAM and i5 3570K should have been another dead give away that this game will require a beefy system.
i have a 670 msi pe i run Nier automota in the highest setting available for 2560 x 1080 (with msa turned off because the game cant deal with that) for 35 fps average. Its the worst port I ever seen in my life. So it close the subject. goodbye.
