Well... you can try out mean difficulty. This is one time game anyway so it will be no fun playing on mean if you know all the answers anyway. I can't remeber if you can change difficulty without restarting thought...

Anything lower than Mean/Mean is for filthy casuals ;p

What do the Logic and Action difficulties influence exactly, if I may ask? From what I've seen the game doesn't really explain them, so I'd like to know what gameplay elements change depending on which difficulty.

You can always assign a new hotkey for Steam overlay. I have mine not with a key ombination but with "Pause/Break" key; its not commonly used by games and whenever I go to Steam overlay,it feels like I want to "pause" the game.

This is a very good idea, I'm rebinding my keys right now!

"Logic" defines how many additional bad evidence options are mixed in during Non-stop Debate (tho sometimes none of them are correct, but that's a diffrent subject ;p ), and how many "free letters" you have alredy filed in during Hangedmen's Gambit (if I remember correctly) (don't remmber how exactly it affects other minigames). "Action", as you could guess, influences how hard the action sections are.

Action and Logic dificulty only affects the trials. Outside of them, they do nothing.

if you're super duper smart and you remember stuff easily, pick mean
if you're a casul and you just want a cake walk and a casual playthrough, pick nice
if you want a generous helping of 'meanness' but also a generous helping of 'nice', just pick the normal mode inbetween, after all that's what normal just means in video games

If it wasnt answered already. Logic difficulty refers to how many weak spots / truth bullets you have while action difficulty goes more into difficulty gameplay wise. like for example things getting in the way of the statement or the btb lasting longer. (at least this is what i think it does

If you pay attention it's pretty easy on the default difficulties. Much later on it suddenly gets really cruel expecting you to know things that have never been said, but you can infer with a bit of thinking. Upping the difficulty isn't as insane as it might sound
Eh, so far (finished chapter 2), Mean logic isn't much of a challenge at all. Compare to Ace Attorney where every statement and every piece of evidence is a possibility even for the very first cross examination.
