Is the anime any good?

I don't have time to binge watch things. But in comparison to the game, which is better?

After game - sure, it's good to see recap of story nicely animated, with different angles of picture and story, fully voiced. If you liked game and want more it's cool to see characters in action.

Before game - no no, spoilers without you solving mysteries yourself (you can try, but it's too fast for that, no all clues presentented to analize etc, no dialogues and options to know characters better).

Cool part of game is to being some lt.Colombo (quite scared though) who walks around, ask everyone, watch for clues, spent time with could-be-a-next-killers or could-be-a-next-victims, there's a cleverly directed exploration part that can't be fully experienced in anime.

Depends, the anime was a terrible adaption in that it dramatically shortened, or even outright removed, a lot of factors from the game due to time restrictions, so if you want to get a far more developed, in-depth experience, where you get to know the characters more, feel free t get the game. However, the overall plot is still the same, so you'll be spoiled on the trials, mastermind, etc.
However, if you don't want to buy this game due to seeing the anime but stil like the series, you're in luck, as the sequel is coming out on the 18th, so that could be an option, provided you're not spoiled on that also.

Don't ever watch the anime. It's a terrible adaptation and just rushed overall. If you only see the anime, you'll probably be extremly confused on what's happening, it's that rushed. Just...stay away from that anime.

That was a good point.

Actually, I think that whole moment detracts from his character. In the last episode he says that he won't let Leon and Sayaka's deaths keep him down, he'll keep going and carry their memories with him. But then...next episode he's angsting in the shower over the very thing he said he wouldn't angst over? I'm sorry, but the anime does not understand the characters at all.

The anime is kind of fast, but I was still able to follow it pretty well, you just have to pay attention. Though, if the plot is the same as the anime, I may have to skip over this one. If all of the "Blackened"'s are still the same for every trial, there won't be any suspense or fun in figuring it out for me. =/

I watched the anime right after I finished this game. The anime spoilers all the content in quick mode. It will ruin your experience if you watch the anime first. I recommend: Don't do that.

I could'nt enjoy it as much as the game itself. Though it's still nice if you have become a fan of the game. Also I like the intro song of it.

The game is so much better than the anime! If you are doing one or the other, just play the game.

If you've got time to waste it'll happily use it up. I don't like the translation and the voice actors are different, Celeste doesn't have a fake accent, Mifumi doesn't address everyone formally which makes a certain trial worse, and somehow they make Monokuma worse but it isn't the worst thing out there. The music is pretty good though and you might want to look up the intro/outro.
