it won't start up

I click on it, and it says "running" off to the side, but nothing comes up anywhere (I'm assuming it's not download) but after a few seconds it stops saying it's running and I can't find it playing anywhere. Am I doing something wrong?

Nope I've gotten the same problem and even posted about it in this forum.
I would be mad or should I say madder but it cost me the equivalent of a coffee.

I would like to see a fix in the future....

Haven't run into that. You'd be better off sending a message to Valve directly since it uses their HTML5 video player.
