Steam Next Fest ended yesterday, Rivals. It was a crazy few days, and we’re so excited by the positive reception we got! Development has been a long road, and we have so much longer still to go, but actually watching gamers try DeGen Rivals out has been incredible.

So before anything else, from all of us at Team DeGen: thank you. If you downloaded the demo, Wishlisted DeGen Rivals on Steam, joined our Discord[discord.gg], followed us on social media, created DR content on your Twitch or YouTube, or even just joined a DR livestream, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

That said, the journey is just beginning! Here are some big announcements you won’t want to miss:

• We’re extending the demo all the way until launch. Though at first we figured the demo would only stay up during Steam Next Fest, the feedback has been so positive that we’ve decided to leave the demo live on Steam! It will remain free-to-play and the servers will stay online all the way until DeGen Rivals launches for real.

• We’re putting out updates to keep you hooked. We’re not abandoning the demo, not by a longshot. Expect new features and keep reporting bugs as you find them!

• We’re dropping some hot new lore tomorrow. The Dr. who created the DeGens has been lurking in the shadows. Tomorrow you get to meet him.

• The launch in April is going to be huge. Expect more gamemodes, more maps, and more chaos. (See below for a leak that’s probably going to cost me my job.)

Let’s get wrecking, Rivals! The party doesn’t stop here.
