Jodi´s Fish Casserole Quest collides with Ice festival(bug)

Jodi appeared exactly on 8th winter day at my house and invited me to a dinner.
It was my second year so i decided to miss the Ice Festival and go fishing and visit Jodi with the Largemouth Bass at 7:00 pm.
As far as i can remember the ice festival lasts the whole day so i couldnt do both events at the same day.
Finally i had 2 gold and 1 silver largemouth bass in my Backpack and tried to enter Jodis house exactly at 7:00 pm but the door was locked, 7:10 and 7:20 the same.
Its like in real life, one word: women :(
Can i repeat that quest some other day?

Unfortunate stroke of luck you had there. I don't know the answer to your question but I would suggest posting this in the bug reports section so it can be fixed.

I just had something similar happen to me. Exactly on the day of the Ice Festival (1st year), except it was Sam that came to my farm asking for my character to come somewhere at a certain time. What do? :[

The 3-5pm counts in general. I went into town several days after I got the invitation (since it was start of spring and I was busy with setting up my new fields x.x) and then I still got the event when I entered the town-square during that time.

So I guess we can go to the festival and do the event the following day?

It took me for-freaking-ever to get a bass. You can definitely do it later. Any of the tasks given through the mailbox have no time limit. Took me a year to find the mayors shorts.

Same exact thing happened to me. First time I skipped the festival but got there at 7:10 and the door was locked. I was like REALLY? Im ten minutes late and Im out? So, restart. This time Im there at 6. Knock on the door at exactly 7. Locked. I tried to sneak in through a window, no luck. Restart. This time I figure Ill go to the Festival and maybe go to her house after? Yeah, no. Restart.

This time I go to festival and then go to sleep and go the next day. Even though I try the door at like 6:30 it opens and Jodi is happy to see me a day later.

Then I threw the fish on the floor. Ah how we laughed....

Seriously? If you believe that tripe, you need some enlightenment. No need to be a bigot.

In any case... yes, you can arrive at her house ANY day at the specified time. The quest stays in your list.

I read this topic because I had this problem. Read this and thought it was random. ... Completed the quest, and laughed my butt off when I threw the fish on the floor at Sam's feet.
