Just got a weird mail

I just got a letter in the mail the says
"Greetings, Matt It is our pleasure to inform you that your farm will be featured in next week's up & comming column of the Stardew Valley Tribune! Congratulations. We're impressed with your quick Progress.

Is this really a thing, or is it part of the game? Is this acctaully from Stardew Valley Team?

Well it's way of saying you're doing pretty good with your farm. This is geared more to the newbies.

It motivate the fk out of me during my first playthrough to keep going... went another 8 hours after for a total of 10 straight hours that first day... Never again.

>buy around $8000 dollars worth of melon seeds, which is 100 seeds.
>grow for 11 days, finally, after what seems like a decade it is all done growing.
>i harvest.
>i sell.
>get $27000 back
>prettyfun.fortnite
