Wait for an event so its easier to meet ppl
the brown haired girl lives at the carpenter shop, you can wait outside the house in a totally not stalker way to talk to her, same with the blonde, she lives with emily and next to Sam.

As noted above. The thing about those festivals and such is that everybody shows up. Just don't make the mistake of telling whomever is in charge (usually the Mayor) that it's time to start things up, because that puts an end to any dialog opportunities.

So first, use it as a means of speaking to everyone. You'll usually only get one response, and there's no chance of handing out gifts. But if you say hello to everyone, chances are you'll catch the people you've missed, before.
I'm trying too, I need to find 1 more people... no ideia. I already try to search all map and talk to all peoples in the festival.

I have found that villagers forget any talking you do at festivals. I introduced myself there and it didn't register the introductions.

I'm in year 2 now and still have 27/28 :csdmeh: Kent came back and thought that was the missing person, but the quest didn't finish when I looked him up at home. Wish there was a way to check who I missed, for instance in the relationships tab.

(sorry for necroing this thread, btw :healthvial:)

Okay, weirdly enough, I had met EVERYBODY, but somehow talking to Sebastian hadn't counted yet, until I met him at the train station. I swear I talked to him before, also outside an event. Oh well... Finally finished it!

This really threw me because I've played this game a gazillion times but I was having the same error.

Keep in mind that anytime you talk to anybody at 1.) festivals 2.) if you GIFT something to someone, 3.) if you are trying to PURCHASE something like over the counter or 4.) Cutscene that triggers without "talking" to someone = NONE of these count as "meeting" people. I really thought this was a glitch and was going to give up until I just went back and talked to everyone again. I missed Gus, who I had both gifted something to him and purchased something from him, but never "talked" to. Try all this stuff first!

That used to be the way, but I think they changed it in the last update.

It's happened to me twice and it was with people that you got a cut scene with before you introduced yourself. They registered on the relationship tab but didn't count towards the achievement. Mine were Willy (fishing scene doesn't count) and The Wizard (turning up at his place by request doesn't count).

I'd think of people you haven't really approached outside of cut scenes and try them out.
