Using MOD Legal or Illegal?

Since using MOD is kinda helped me a lot playing this game, now I'm starting to wonder if using mod is legal or illegal?

It's not like modding a multiplayer is illegal. It just violates the ToS, and might get you banned. You need to ♥♥♥♥ up pretty hard to go to jail for anything videogame-related.

Nothing in gaming is ILLEGAL. You can violate the AGBs in multiplayer games. But you can mod every single player game to DEATH if you want to :D

To put it this way, On the official Forums, there is a forum just for mods.

So yeah, the Dev knows about it, and is cool with it

The devs are most definitely okey with mods, as long as what you do doesn't affect them or the other players in a negative way, not that i know how you would do that with a mod.
