Have a small, manageable farm unless you have sprinklers to spare, and spend your newfound free time mining or fishing.
10 cranberry plants you water by hand will more than cover any expenses, and set up bunches of preserves jars to make double cash on them. Add more as you have sprinklers to cover them.
I've never really found the basic sprinkler or watering can upgrades worth it.
You should be working to advance through the mines so you can get gold and irridium as fast as possible. Time wasted on farming is time you're not gaining access to new things that help you make more money automatically.
It might change with the next patch though - we're going to get "money sinks" to spend late-game cash on, so there might be a use for all that money after all. Then again, if you're in the late game, there's a good chance you're already neck-deep in so much money that no "money sink" could ever put a dent in it... :/
You're barking up the wrong tree, you oak to read the whole post!
He never plant to have sprinklers, yet!
