Let us save Shane!
I don't mean by marrying the poor dude. Shane loses his job if you complete the Community Center. For the love of Yoba, let me hire him to water and harvest crops and tend my animals. We can build Pam and Penny a whole house, but we can't give one man a job? Let me have my happy ending!

When you get his hearts high enough, even as a friend, he helps Marnie by helping to raise and manage the blue chickens on the farm. I like to believe he just makes that his full time concern after the CC completion.

shane is fine he be mooching off marnie, with all the money i gave her buying animals and hay she can keep shane drowned in booze for life

Don't spoil too much of his story, sometimes it's better to be left on a cliffhanger. :)

You can already can save Shane.

Just grab his image in the game and stick it in a folder. There, ya saved him.

No worries even if you don't marry Shane you can both help him and he will get a new job. He will work at Pierre store after Joja closes, and if you watch his 8 heart event he would even contribute to Marnie by breeding a new type of blue chickens. You can even buy some and raise them on your farm

I don't think the blue chickens do anything that a regular chicken can do, other than be easier to spot.
