Which of the town is a thief?

Thoughts anyone?
If you stay up too late, and pass out, you will wake up and have a random letter in the mailbox. One of the possibilities is that you get a letter from someone saying they found someone stealing from your pockets, while you were asleep, but ran away before being seen.

Anyone have an idea which one it might be?
It can't be:
1. Vincent or Jas: It would be obvious, because of their size, if a child had been the one stealing.
2. Kent: Because you can get the letter before he even appears.
3. Wizard: Because he is probably beyond the need for money (I assume). And even then, he probably has some magic that would prevent him being caught.
4. George: He's not gonna be escaping very easily in a wheelchair.

He is to start off with. In a later dialogue with him, he says something which makes me believe that he is nicking stuff from people. In my first playthrough I thought it may have been Linus.

Linus, he's homeless and he's got nothing to lose. It also could have been Pam i doubt she gives a ♥♥♥♥ about getting caught and would love to steal some booze money.

Linus takes from the garbage but that's probably all he does. I doubt he would steal from the player. Pam would perhaps do it but I don't know. I say don't trust anyone from Joja company.

I assume in the village. Those houses are just not in the playable game. like any game that has "huge towns" but you only see twenty residents due to limitations on the devolping side. That or she lives in the Joja mart with Morris. Which makes you wonder what happens to her if you close down the mart.
