Best place to find omni geodes?

Anyone know the best level in the mines to find omni geodes?

From the Wiki: "Omni Geodes can be found while panning, on all levels of The Mines, and on all levels of the Skull Cavern. They can also be purchased from the Oasis on Wednesdays for Gold.png1,000g, and from Krobus on Tuesdays for Gold.png300g. Five Omni Geodes are the reward for completing the Geologist's Bundle in the Boiler Room."

best place? no best place either buy them or blow up the mines with bombs and cross your fingers but mining and bombing costs valuable time and money aswell I would just buy them instead

Skull cavern for sure. I'm assuming you want them because you have a couple random minerals left for the museum--farming them is kind of slow though, I think I only get like 18-20 per trip. Probably better to spend a half week's wine money on buying them from Sandy, if that's an option .

I know one can get geodes by digging in trashcans. I don't know if that includes omni geodes.
