Is there any use for the minerals I find?
I'm saving them, and I have a lot of them, but never found any use for them.
Should I sell most of them and keep 2-3 from each kind?
Thanks!

Some are used in recipes, you can give 1 of each to the museum, but some you only need 1 of so can sell, you'll need to check the wiki to find out which though as I can't remember all 53 (I think) of them off the top of my head, and honestly it would be kind of weird if somebody did

They make good gifts for some of the citizens iirc.

But in the long run, there's no need for me to collect for example 20 pieces of some kind of a mineral, it's recommended to keep a few (2-4) in storage, and sell the rest? I won't regret selling those?

The most important mineral to keep around is quartz, the rest make good gifts and can otherwise be safely sold

The Gemstone minerals are great for gifts, diamonds rubys topazes and such. Quartz, earth crystals, frozen tears, and fire quartz are useful in crafting. You will likely want a lot of quartz in the long run. Any others that are more like silicates or calcites have no use outside of the museum and make for poor gifts in general.

Thank you all!

One universal love gift is diamonds. There's a machine you can craft called a crystalarium. You can put a mineral in it and periodically it'll make a copy of it. So if you were to put a diamond in it, it would continuously make diamonds. Though making diamonds takes a while. It takes a lot of resources but you can actually make a bunch of those and have them all making diamonds and combine that with the mining profession that increases the value of gems and minerals. I did that, or am working on doing that, in my hilltop farm character. Alternatively you can put any gem or mineral in them. Quartz is an example. At one point I was planning on having one crystalarium for each mineral but I changed my mind when I realized how many I'd need to make. But if you're doing a second or so on playthrough with an all mining challenge, then you might want to have a farm of those.
