Stardew Valley-From PC to Nintendo Switch
My question that I can't find anywhere is- Do you have to buy a game again on the switch you already bought on PC?

I'm getting a Nintendo Switch soon and I want to play Stardew Valley on it of course, but idk if I will if I have to buy the game again.

Thank you for any help! <3

1. buy it again on nintendo switch
2. purchase a switch online subscription if you wish to play multiplayer
3. if you currently enjoy modding your game on PC, you will not be able to do so on switch.

Some people don't understand the concept of purchasing a game multiple times because its on a different platform, but you have to understand the developer of the game incurred additional costs and effort making sure it worked and is licensed on that system, so to utilize that, you will have to pay. (unless you use "Play anywhere" titles on xbox and PC, then you can play those without buying them twice)

I don't see how you'd be able to play it on Nintendo Switch if you had it on PC. Unfortunately, most consoles are like that.

You have to purchase a Switch copy.

It's no different from any other game that is available on both PC and console.

If you own Skyrim on PS4, you still have to buy the PC version if you want to play on PC.

And if you own Stardew Valley on PC, you still have to buy it on Switch.

You were expecting a freebie?
