Stupid Fire Quartz Probably Bugged.

Hi, I need the stupid fire quartz to finish the boiler room collection, but no matter what I do it just does not want to spawn. Yes, I know it is in levels 80+ in the mine. Yes, I've tried to look for it on every level between 80 and 120 on good luck, neutral, and bad luck days many many MANY times. I think it has been maybe 6 in game WEEKS or even more and almost every single day I go looking for it but it never ever wants to spawn. Oh and, yes, I tried to find it in different kinds of geode multiple times as well, but: IT. JUST. DOESN'T. WANT. TO. SPAWN.
Please, if you can in any way help me, even if I have to "cheat" the game to get it, kindly assist me, this is really really starting to upset me and I don't think that this was intended by the dev.

I got mine out of a geode. 4 omni geodes a week + smack every rock you can in the mines and the quarry for the other type geodes.

Try magma or omni geodes, try panning or fishing and hoping it comes out of a chest.

Geodes seem to be fairly common. Once you hit 80+, just keep exiting the mine and taking the elevator to 80 and going through the floors again. Whenever you leave the mine, the floors reset.

If you really want to get it with exploits, buy a chicken and name it [82] to magically get the fire quartz.

You must have phenomenally bad luck, because I've never had difficulty getting one. Sure, it's nowhere near as common as regular quartz, but in every game I've played, I've found one just lying out in the open somewhere past floor 80, long before reaching 120. In fact, I just did a quick run starting on floor 80 just to test my luck with it, and sure enough, found one on floor 94, and this was on a low luck day.
