Is it worth starting over for Stardew valley enhanced?
Hey, I have around 200hours on this game, and have pretty much all I want on my farm and finished all community stuff ( i havent got much friendship hearts with people)

I focused a lot on gold so I havent put much effort into friendships, so I'm wondering if its worth it to start all over on a new save file and use the stardew valley enhanced mod? or if i instead should just play my normal save and focus more on friendship stuff

Thanks in advance :tabbycat:

The choice is yours, really. SDVE adds new events and updates old ones. Some events on ly happen in Year 1, for example.

Also, all the new NPCs the mod adds appear as if they were there long before you. It may seem kinda weird to have them suddenly appear on an existing save but, otherwise, there's nothing wrong with using it on an already existing save. It should work fine.

Oh my understanding was that you needed a new save file, and thanks for your reply :)

I think they recommend starting over since it does add so much, and the new farm map you can use is quite expansive. With that extra space, and a hefty dose of sprinklers, you can really rack up the money quickly once you've firmly established yourself by the end of the first year or so, and focus on the new villagers and whatever else suits your fancy.

I started over and don't regret it. It's been fun working my way back up the ladder, and making all of the new friends along the way.

The only time you really HAVE to start over is if you decide to use IF2R.

Thank you, and yea that's the kind of gameplay I want this time around too, I focused a lot on gold on other save and this time I rather focus on the story etc like you said :) :tabbycat:
