How to late-game make millions (?)
Excel Table [i.imgur.com]

So I've made an Excel table to calcultate the number of crops and sprinkllers needed to make a million gold in a season. The numbers are discouraging at least.
I've calculated to how much I would need making wine/juice with all of the crops (despite I can't make that much kegs) and the numbers are too big anyways.

I'm playing 2 players coop so we need:

Two scepters - 4,000,000
Earth obelisk - 1,000,000
Water Obelisk - 1,000,000
desert obelisk - 1,000,000
Gold clock - 10,000,000

Total . 17,000,000 G

What the hell am I missing??

This is my farm now Year 3, (the hut is filled with kegs and the greenhouse filled with fruittrees and ancient fruits for the kegs)

Farm [i.imgur.com]

To make that kind of money I would have to play another 143 hours!!

Lots of Ancient Fruit Wine.

Looking at your farm, the animals are wasting space, the slime hutch is wasting space, the orchard is wasting space, etc.

For pure money, you want nothing but Ancient Fruit being planted Spring through Fall with Deluxe Speed Gro, Ancient Fruit in your green house, several deluxe sheds filled with kegs to process all the fruit into wine and plenty of time to harvest everything every five days.

Junimo Huts take up too much space so better to do it yourself. This is just purely for making money. Not RPing a farm with multiple crops.

If you want to keep your barns fill them with pigs iridium level truffles will make you a mint daily. Honey as well is a good earner as long as you put flowers near by to up the quality (spring Jazz, summer Spangle and fall Fairy Rose)

If you don't want to do the field-based Ancient Fruit (due to lack of seeds), the key is to have a big summer with Starfruit. If you can plant even just 1000 Starfruit with Deluxe Speed Gro on Day 1 (almost doable solo, definitely doable with a partner) you can get 3 harvests and ~9 million after processing. Just make sure your kegging capacity is reasonable (like 350-400 kegs?) and you should be OK--put the kegs in the quarry (lay down stone paths across the whole thing to prevent rocks from spawning) and you might not have to completely ruin your farm layout

If you're hurting for Oak Resin (like, if the only Oak trees you tapped are the ones in the lower left corner of your farm) then consider making an Oak tree farm in the Railyard or the Desert

Yeah, running a standard farm I normally place 32 oak trees on the south wall of the map in the first spring and tap them. making large sheds and filling them with kegs.

to make 17 million gold. so in summer you can do 2 harvest of starfruit playing solo I can typically get down 1000 with deluxe speed grow, and 1500 normally. so two harvests of 1500 and 3 harvests of 1000 for 6000 starfruit in a season.

6000 starfruit wine sells for 19 million. if you have 500 kegs you can process it in 12 weeks. (a year is 16 weeks)

6000 starfruit seeds COST 2.4 Million.

so ideally what we do is spring we plant strawberries. maybe rhubarb ->strawberries if we didn't have the seeds. point is the field is all set up with strawberry plants and we just need to scythe them, fertilize and seed on day 1, because its already hoe'd and watered from the strawberries.

so like we plant 2400 Rhubarb on spring 1, harvest it on the 14th, or more likely the 15 if we couldn't water it, plant the strawberries on the 15th. 16th latest, get 2 harvests of strawberries.

so that sells for like 1.5 million. so we are just short like 1 million in seed money. which if you got ancient fruit in the greenhouse is a couple weeks in the greenhouse.

so now we need 4 large sheds full of kegs. well 3 we can use the house basement. but I guess we should have one for the ancient fruit greenhouse as well.

ok resin takes 8 days. so with 33 tapped oak trees, thats 100 every ...month. so you'd need 5 months of oak resin to get that to work, or you could plant more trees elsewhere.

oh and the fertilizer costs something.

regardless after pulling up the last starfruit, plant wheat to preserve the fertilzer for fall.and just do pumpkins or something.

it'll be fine.

but just a greenhouse making wine would get you to your goal in 17 months, or 4 years, so I'm confused where your number came from.

wow ok thanks hahaha I'll do this for sure

Like what a lot of people here said, process your goods! Make sure you have a lot in terms of keg capacity. You can save space by fully upgrading sheds and filling them with 137 kegs (or jars if you want those). !38 if you have a keg outside to see when the others are done.

Increase your planting space. The ones you have in your photo is definitely not enough.

Rhubarb or strawberries are good for spring, nothing beats starfruit in summer (melons if you're early game but you already said you're several years ahead), do pumpkins in fall. If you can, try to plant a crap ton of winter seeds, harvest, make more seeds, and replant. You can harvest them and keg the crystal fruit.

Dedicate the greenhouse to ancient fruit if you'd like, but the others are better to have outside because reseeding ancient fruit would be tedious (unless you'd want to do the work then go right ahead).

I would suggest this in single player because it would be really difficult in multiplayer, but having the blacksmith perk and harvesting a crap ton of iridium in the skull cavern and selling the bars.

I also agree with the others in that you're wasting a lot of space (unless you're making an aesthetic farm) with the slime hutch and coop and barn placements. You're better off putting those kegs in a fully upgraded shed because outside, you're just wasting space. If you want to keep the barn, fill it with pigs for truffles and perhaps move it to the farthest left side.

If you still wanna do fruit trees, I would suggest just putting them on the sides of the greenhouse (inside so they grow all year round!), and do more pomegranates and peaches- they would be good for wine. Not the best, but better than most.

You'd have to choose if you want an aesthetic farm or a money farm. Don't get me wrong, you can still make a pretty farm that could make you millions, but you'd have to decide what takes precedent to make things easier for you and your friend.

i rebuilt my farm at the end of season 4, just finished season 5 and made 16 million or so
i have 6 plots for crops giving me 1080 spaces, i like having a bit of variety so i grow 3 crops per season (2 in fall)

Spring = Strawberries, Rhubarb and Cauliflower
Summer = Hops, Wheat and Starfruit
Fall = Cranberries and Wheat

Starfruit & Strawberries are made into Wine, Hops and Wheat are made into Pale Ale and Beer
Rhubarb, Cranberries and Cauli are made into pickles etc
I have 20 bee hives making the flavoured honey which mounts up nicely

I also have a greenhouse full of ancient seeds which is made into Wine weekly, I put one batch of wine into casks in the cellar, 116 bottles made me 500,000

I had a barn with 4 pigs that got me 300 truffles so easy money again, this year I have 12 pigs and got 46 truffles in the first 2 days of spring
