Looking at your farm, the animals are wasting space, the slime hutch is wasting space, the orchard is wasting space, etc.
For pure money, you want nothing but Ancient Fruit being planted Spring through Fall with Deluxe Speed Gro, Ancient Fruit in your green house, several deluxe sheds filled with kegs to process all the fruit into wine and plenty of time to harvest everything every five days.
Junimo Huts take up too much space so better to do it yourself. This is just purely for making money. Not RPing a farm with multiple crops.
If you're hurting for Oak Resin (like, if the only Oak trees you tapped are the ones in the lower left corner of your farm) then consider making an Oak tree farm in the Railyard or the Desert
wow ok thanks hahaha I'll do this for sure
Increase your planting space. The ones you have in your photo is definitely not enough.
Rhubarb or strawberries are good for spring, nothing beats starfruit in summer (melons if you're early game but you already said you're several years ahead), do pumpkins in fall. If you can, try to plant a crap ton of winter seeds, harvest, make more seeds, and replant. You can harvest them and keg the crystal fruit.
Dedicate the greenhouse to ancient fruit if you'd like, but the others are better to have outside because reseeding ancient fruit would be tedious (unless you'd want to do the work then go right ahead).
I would suggest this in single player because it would be really difficult in multiplayer, but having the blacksmith perk and harvesting a crap ton of iridium in the skull cavern and selling the bars.
I also agree with the others in that you're wasting a lot of space (unless you're making an aesthetic farm) with the slime hutch and coop and barn placements. You're better off putting those kegs in a fully upgraded shed because outside, you're just wasting space. If you want to keep the barn, fill it with pigs for truffles and perhaps move it to the farthest left side.
If you still wanna do fruit trees, I would suggest just putting them on the sides of the greenhouse (inside so they grow all year round!), and do more pomegranates and peaches- they would be good for wine. Not the best, but better than most.
You'd have to choose if you want an aesthetic farm or a money farm. Don't get me wrong, you can still make a pretty farm that could make you millions, but you'd have to decide what takes precedent to make things easier for you and your friend.
i have 6 plots for crops giving me 1080 spaces, i like having a bit of variety so i grow 3 crops per season (2 in fall)
Spring = Strawberries, Rhubarb and Cauliflower
Summer = Hops, Wheat and Starfruit
Fall = Cranberries and Wheat
Starfruit & Strawberries are made into Wine, Hops and Wheat are made into Pale Ale and Beer
Rhubarb, Cranberries and Cauli are made into pickles etc
I have 20 bee hives making the flavoured honey which mounts up nicely
I also have a greenhouse full of ancient seeds which is made into Wine weekly, I put one batch of wine into casks in the cellar, 116 bottles made me 500,000
I had a barn with 4 pigs that got me 300 truffles so easy money again, this year I have 12 pigs and got 46 truffles in the first 2 days of spring
