Do you need a good internet connection to play multiplayer?
My internet connection speed at home is at 1 to 4 mbps which is very low now these days, do i need to have a fast internet speed for stardew's mutiplayer?

You'll be fine joining someone on your continent. I wouldn't try connecting to someone across the ocean. I also wouldn't host unless your upload speeds are just as fast.

I have a 3 Mbps Down / .61 Mbps up and play fine as a joiner. Haven't tried hosting.

Yea, do you just start up multiplayer by just the menu to play with a friend or do you have to buy the thing for it, i think you do if i am correct

He just hosts the game and I join him. As long as a cabin is built on the farm, a player can come in.

Check the FAQ sticky for other mutiplayer info you may be looking for.

i doubt you will run into any problems, i have a connection speed of 1mb/s down due to living at the edge of a village in germany, which means ♥♥♥♥ internet xd

so far ive yet to run into a game that needs more ;)
