I'm 35, and I play this game, pretty sure you didn;t find stats because a lot of different ages play the game
- Younger players (12-17) tend to be attracted to games that let you design your own world, and games with decent combat.
- Older players (40+) tend to be attracted to games similar to old ones they've played, or something that's easy to learn, without being aimed at kids.
- My age group (18-30) tend to like games you can either come home and relax to, or something you can min/max to show off.
Stardew Valley fits all of those critera. :P
You might be better off making a strawpoll though, if you trust it - some people are too suspicious to click a google doc link.
Stats, for the record:
40/40 achievements (I just completed this after YEARS of gameplay!)
Save 1: Fall, 16. Year 11. Applehead Farms, 298h21m.
Save 2: Spring, 7. Year 2. Money Trees Farm, 030h15m.
Animals (all on save 1)
3 Chickens: Bill, Feathers, Quackers
1 Cow: Day-Z
I thoroughly enjoyed this game! Unfortunately, for the completionists, luck is a factor. Especially when attempting to complete the museum collection. Even after hundres of hours there are still multiple items I have only seen twice. But I have seen everything at least twice. But man oh man it was a struggle to find them
Good luck with the game, all!
