Not getting maple syrup or oak resin

Its been like 3 weeks in game and my tappers aren't making any oak resin or maple syrup. I had tappers on some pine trees and they're making pine tar, but i'm not getting anything from the other trees. Any tips?

Thanks for the help! I didnt put it up after 2 am but I just continued to break and place them each day until they made something.

Oak resin and maple syrup take longer to form than the pine tar. They each take about 2 days longer to be harvestable. Pine tar takes 4 days, oak resin 6 days, and maple syrup takes 8 days.

Then maybe the game is bugged, it shouldn't take 8 days or longer for oak resin or maple syrup to be harvestable, let alone 3 weeks.

It makes sense to pop them off and back on again one time if you're trying to reset from a bug but you shouldn't be having to pop them on and off every day just to get them to produce. Just leave them on the tree, oak resin and maple syrup just take a few days longer than pine tar.

Well he needs to plant the tree to get resin from it later. Does that require digging? It's been a few months since I played.

(first off I am a she lol) And I didn't pop them off every day, I did it after one in game week. Eventually they started making products.
