Your argument that the Pantry bundle is easy is completely full of holes when you're deliberately rushing to get the money for if you were doing Joja while saying you're not going the Joja route, but you clearly haven't done any of the things needed for the Community Center route. Even if you do think the Greenhouse is OPed, I'd love to know how you think acquireing all the items for it is 'easy'.
Admit it; you're usually a Joja player who now thinks that because the items required for the bundle are fairly straightforward, true, that they'll be easy to collect and maintain.
I managed to get my Greenhouse by my first winter, but this relied on two things - 1: Knowing exactly what I was doing and 2: using the Name Exploit for Iridium Sprinklers (because watering plants sucks). When people start out, they rarely know exactly what they're doing.
Point is, while you can get it without exploits, it's HARD. Sprinklers use up ore - you either buy it, or mine it, and you need a furnace either way.
Also, funny thing about using the tree fruit... trees take a month to grow and they're EXPENSIVE. You'll never have both Cherry and Apricot before they're out of season.
And man is the Travelling Merchant erratic and expensive.
yeah i 100% don't believe you.
Record it and prove you can do it.
So you've set yourself the challenge of opening the Greenhouse as soon as possible. Lots of people have. And then they find out that's why it's called a challenge.
It's not exactly something you just pull off by accident in your first or even second games, at least not without studious and analytical use of the Wiki.
Also, Fruit Bats suck. Way too much RNG.
Again, till you record it not gonna believe you.
Edit: fruit bats do not suck idk why people think this. Iridium quality fruit for gifts and no need to invest in any fruit tree for the artisan bundle. Use forest map to get the same mushrooms you lost by picking fruit bats. duh.
Sure, then you'll have the Greenhouse. But you won't have much else. You're admitting it yourself; you got lucky. Does that mean that everybody does all the time?
THere's a lot more than the ability to bleed money to this game.
You know what? I prefer preserve jars too. But man did filling out two sheds and my cellar cost a lot of money.
People wouldn't be so irritated if you just admitted that's what you're doing, because there are SO many other ways to play and money is just one of them.
And where are you going to get the 10,000 wood, 8000 stone, and 1600 coal for the preserve jars? Thats either an absolutely insane amount of money, or an insane amount of energy spent harvesting trees and rocks leaving you no energy for anything else, and the amjority of that coal will be bought at 15g each which will be close to 20-24k gold on its own. Not even counting for the sprinklers required to cover the 200 spots. :S
