End-game content?
Does this game ever end? I just entered my second year, I almost maxed out all my skills (every skill is on 9 except for farming), I only have around 40k gold and I can't craft 99% of my recipes because the ingredients are season-depending.

Yes. No need for flaming or arguing about something unrelated to the original topic. A mods going to step in if this thread isnt careful.

If someone uses SAM, its their own business. It does not effect anyone elses playthrough or comments on this thread, which is related to end game content.
Alright, we'll stop discussing anything related to the topic OP brought up himself when he stated that his endgame goal for this game was getting all the achievements in the game, which seemed comical due to him unlocking all achievements within a matter of seconds through external software in other games. We also won't discuss that he then lied about only doing this in one game, which spurred even more replies. That's all in the past now :)

Actually the back and forth about SAM started when you looked at his profile and made a comment about that. That might be why some people have private profiles, so people can't look at their profiles and see the stuff that they do and make comments.

The story finishes once the second year does, if you've been on the ball from the start (Community Center/Joja, socialising with villagers, basically anything that produces a cutscene. This can be done in two years. And there's a "grading" cutscene at the end of Year 2).

But the game/gameplay keeps on going, regarding the farm and getting more money. That part is endless.

Thanks, I'll just go for 100% achievements and be done with it then :D

You can't get every achivement in one save, because you cannot complete both the Community Center and the Joja Warehouse in one save. (You cannot join Joja when you complete the Community Center and you cannot complete the Community Center after you join Joja because Joja turns it into a warehouse and the bundles are gone.)

If you need an excuse to keep playing, you can place a diamond into the statue at the corner of the farm to be graded again. Try to light all the candles!

well of course... because these sorts of games have no end. animal crossing doesn't. harvest moon sort of has one.that's just three or five years i think depending on the installment.

This game IS a sandbox game. if you're looking for a really straightforward linear game with a story that you have a beginning, middle, and end; this is maybe not the game for you.

Also keep in mind there are in game achievements plus some extra steam achievements. like the beat the prairie king and find all the stardrops.

I only used SAM for Rocket League, when you check the timecodes for other games you'll see I don't resort to such thing.

Check my Skyrim playtime, I've been a betatester for a few of the more popular mods. What does it interest you anyway?

You already said you used SAM, and you have several games where you unlocked all achievements at once, which is what SAM does.

And I'm interested because you brought up achievements, since those are fairly meaningless when you just use software to unlock them all.

So what prevents me from unlocking all achievements from my 687 games at once right now with SAM?

You stopped making sense half an hour ago.

I hate that game, but I believe there are two achievements involved.

Or maybe I should use SAM to unlock them!
