how rare is void mayo?

Wiki says you can fish up a single jar of void mayo per playthrough in the Witch's Swamp. Just wondering if anyone has actually done this, or it's just a rumor? I spent the entire day fishing there and didn't find any void mayo, but this is how I need to obtain it.

Yes, I know Krobus sells void eggs. I know the traveling cart does. I'm just wondering about fishing it up, before I waste another hour trying to get it this way.

Well I've never tried to fish it up there, but maybe the ability to fish one up there is related to its use there, and once that's over it stops being catchable? Just a blind guess.

Yeah, probably, but I'm just wondering if anyone can confirm you can get one that way before I waste hours fishing there. I already spent a day there fishing and just got garbage and cod or something.

I believe that was Tripoteur's method of passing that Goblin since Trip didn't use animals at all. (Where did Trip go, btw?) So there's a (potential) confirmation of it existing for the quest.

I'm doing a challenge run myself (no farming) so fishing is my only way to get the mayo. I'm level 0 fishing though, so I'm wondering if there's any level requirement to catch it or something.

Level 0 fishing. It sounds like something that would be difficult to catch. You might need to level up your fishing to catch it.

u can get void eggs from doing something during the hween event
u get a void chickling and he makes void eggs

u can buy void eggs from the monster in the sewer...make mayo...im lvl 10 fishing ...never fished up a egg, not even from one of the chest

it's very easy
once you get a void egg you can put it in the egg nest in your upgraded coop
you can have a void chicken
and you can make void mayo everyday

Not really. You can just buy a void egg and make it. You can also hatch it to get a chicken so go figure.

Read the main post, he's doing a "no farming" run, so he can't farm chickens, and he can't use eggs to get mayo if he doesn't farm, as you need a high level of farming to do that.

I know the travelling cart sells void eggs, but does it sell void mayo? It probably wouldn't be a realistic solution since if it does appear in the cart it could potentially be multiple in game years before it randomly appeared, but still I'm curious.
