Watering plants Strat

I have a couple Q's. Watering planets takes a lotta time and energy right? I thought the water can upgrade would watter more at once, but i guess it doesn't. (well at least at bronze)

The sprinkers need iron, which means deeper into the mines. Do people do more mine splunking in the spring to rush getting spinklers in the spring? or is it more of a summer thing?

Also, does it mater if i water in the morning or later in the day, or even night? I was watering in the morning, but often that makes my day feel so rushed. Like i could strike out early and fish all day, and water up my crops from like 4-7 and still have it be as effective as if i watered at 6am?

You need to press and hold button to make your can water more than one plant.
Bronze can will water 1x3, iron - 1x5, gold - 3x3 and iridium - 3x5

Sprinklers is really more summer thing.

No, it doesn't matter.

The watering can when upgraded will water more tiles at a time if you hold down the button to charge it up. When holding the button down the can will cycle through the watering patterns of all its previous forms until stopping at its current form's watering pattern.

Typically you water all your crops in the morning so that you can leave your farm and not return until bed time. The bronze watering can waters 3 crops at a time, iron 5, gold 9, iridium 18.

Typically by the first summer, people are still fairly reliant on their watering can, but do have a few (2-5) quality sprinklers, along with a handful of the crappy normal sprinklers. So you could water like 40 crops every morning, and have your sprinklers water another 30 for you.

You can buy iron and copper ore from Clint along with coal. This helps if the mines are going slow and you want some basic sprinkles faster. You won't hit much in the way of iron ore until past level 35 in the mine. Level 40+ it's everywhere down there. Fishing is a good way of making fast money if you need it for the ores.

Usually you water the crops so you have the day free, but I've had no problems watering them at either evening or night after doing the other daily stuff.

yea, i can see watering in the morning, BUT, it doesn't leave much time to catch those morning fish. Basically i wanna try catching a bunch of the early morning fish, then come back and does chores in late afternoon :)

Disagree, sprinklers can be an all the time things, especially if you have huge money making crops planted, sprinklers make it much more convenient.

He was speaking about first Spring and Summer. And it's quite hard to make sprinkers at your first Spring.

This is probably obvious but wait until the TV says it's going to rain the next day to upgrade your water can. Unless you don't have crops planted.
