Which farm layout would be the best for a Keg/winery/brewery farm run?
Okay since i've pretty much done mostly everything Stardew has to offer with a normal regular play, I wanna know what would be the best layout for a keg farm? Because I'm going to try playing with a character that's going to run a winery/vineyard kinda farm and she's going to marry Shane. And naturally this also means Shane will be wanting chickens. LOL. So I'm throwing chickens into the mix. OR does the farm layouts have no affect on keg farming?

The standard one is probably the best because you have enough space to build lots of coops and barns (to fill with kegs). The other farms are too limited imo.
I figured as much. Thank you! ^^

I agree. I've done a couple of play throughs with the regular farm layout and thought I'd try the foraging layout this time. I'm somewhat regretting it as outdoor-crops space is limited as is grassy-meadow area for my stock. I was hoping for a lot more forage from the lost crop space, but it is pretty much all devoted to hardwood and forageable items rarely appear. Since the secret glade has always afforded me all the hardwood that I needed, this has been a disappointment.

That farm might actually be good for roleplaying a lumberjack type character who only plants trees. Fruit trees, tapped trees, maybe growing pine trees to chop down and sell the lumber.

The Hilltop farm is really bad for the op's idea, speaking as someone who has played with that map. The op would be trying to figure out spots where coops would fit. The water map is pretty similar in that regard. Wilderness map has a lot of room, but at night monsters attack that scale with one's combat level. The way I think it is is the standard farm is the best for farmey stuff, but the other ones are for specializing in the other skill types.

Oh, and I might suggest tapping the oak trees outside the farm on the way to town. You need oak sap to make kegs and they're right there.

I was gonna say that the big reason I chsoe the Forest Farm was because of the foraged crops you can get which Shane loves but after double checking his list of loved/liked and disliked items, he doesn't like most of the foraged crops. LOL. So never mind on that. As I started the save, I chose the Forest Farm layout but now I regret it due to Shane's likes and dislikes, and the limited space problem as mentioned by everyone. ^^'

I just looked at the wiki. He likes fruit so you can actually try using the fruit bat cave option. Also the bushes around the forest farm will occassionally have berries on them during the right times of the seasons, and I'm pretty sure he likes those.
