You don't need a silo to start with animals.
Wrong. In real life, but not in Stardew. Mine ate all the grass outside their fenced area.
So? Eggs aren't very good money-makers anyway. Doesn't stop them from being used in cooking or as gifts.
Never ok lol rek.
Actually the TV does, one of the Living of the Lands tells you to get fences
You are missing the point.
No they eat grass, and you mean you starved them. Just because they produce things without you feeding them doesn't mean they don't eat grass. Maybe you should click on them and check their mood, my guess is that they will be p!ssed. You are also not leveling them up so the chance or you getting the good stuff is just about 0 doing that.
And in my opinion the restriction of first building a coop before a silo, makes no sense.
The game should allow it.
It should, the Silo is also cheaper to make money-wise part from the copper but still cheaper imo
?? There is no "restriction" that you have to build a coop first. It's just a quest, no one forces you to build a coop first.
I always build a silo first. Robin had never problem with that.
Even if they did, not like you have to buy animals for it until you are ready to get them, so easy to leave the coop empty for a season or so
