Achievements in different save files

So, i reached the point in chapter 3 where i have to decide an answer to a Faris mail to go for the Hero of RaiNet or Songs of Chaos achievements.

My question is, do i need to do each of them in a different playthrough? can't i get all the collectible related achievements on one go through the game? Maybe having one save slot replaying one thing, other with the other answer and continuing from one of those?

Yeah just make a save and reload it to get the other achievement

What Rum Ham said. I got bits an pieces of achievements in one playthrough, missing the first one or two of a couple of things. Second time round, I got those missed ones and unlocked the achievements. Looks like the game only keeps a sort of tally of how many achievement-related things you've achieved, and only true-ending flags are per-playthrough.
