Sub vs Dub

Let me start by saying i prefer the sub over the dub, but why do so many people hate on the dub. I found the voice acting to be good and Okabe, while acting a bit different in the dub, still suits his character.

I actually prefered the dub. Everything felt fine and normal to me. Just some people enjoy being a super weeabo and dissing the dub.

Dub all the way, Daru's voice felt much more fitting. Plus Okabe's voice actor did a great job too, he isn't too far off from the sub.

I watched the anime in sub and from what I've seen I prefer the sub. However I have seen a few clips with english dub and I will second the sentiment that I don't get people hating on the dub. I thought they did really well with translating otaku things to western nerd culture. I get people preferring the sub sure but there are those I've seen who are vehemently against the dub and that's weird to me.

I played the game then watched the anime dubbed, and both casts are fantastic. I prefer Okabe's english voice, I think he nailed it. I prefer japanese Daru. Give and take.

how can original voice work planned by producer be worse than forced lypsinced dub?
No dum can be better than original. There is a good reason why I play games in english as dubs suck.

Yeah dubs are abomination cause Japanese people never dub anything into their own language... oh wait they do.... who cares man. If people like dubs we should have them, and some people do like them. Why do you have to have it in whatever lang? I don't care what you watch it in, it is just your blanketing opinion, oh all of this sucks cause I said so.... Like there is a Italian dub for Lupin 2015, now what makes this so funny is the anime takes place in Italy so by saying all dubs suck you are saying Lupin is NOT allowed to speak Italian for a Italian audience, while the setting is in Italy..... it just varies from culture to culture really. Not like a close minded person like you would understand.

Honestly I don't care what language it is in at all. It is also already being translated, so it is "not original" already...

Yeah and half the reason I replied to this cool umineko fan was cause he put beato out so I had to troll him a bit.

Generally, non-Japanese films are shown in their original language with Japanese subtitles. One big exception to this is animated films which are usually dubbed in Japanese.

generaly all good cinema show foreign works with subtitles and no dubs as simple respect for work.
