Oh, and I just noticed you've called SERN a CERN. I don't know if it was your mistake or translation in the version you read, but the official name of the organisation in VN is SERN.

At least in this case, the anime is pretty good and adapts the game well. :D

The adaptation is good, but could be even better. I understand that 24 episodes are not enough to include everything, it's only 8 hours worth of time compared to 30+ hours novel. But what I don't understand is the reasons to completely change some stuff, especially Moeka and JB confrontation and super creepy scene with Nae after that. Maybe it's because of violence, but the vn is superb in that part of the story, while the anime falls flat and shows JB's character entirely different.

It's not really incorrect. SERN was based off the real world organization, CERN. It's mostly known for its Large Hadron Collider, that was mentioned in game too.

Ehm, I'd expect he probably knew that already.

Besides, the names are intentionally different, and it's kinda silly to mix 'em up. SERN stands for the "Société Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire". Société replaces "Conseil". It might be somewhat semantic, but imo society and council are not the same word.
