Game not saving

Hello,

I am having issues where my game has not been saving upon me hitting quick save and closing the game. I've saved and returned to the main menu and reloaded my save just to see that is has indeed actually saved my progress (which it did) but upon closing the game my save files seem to be wiped.

I'm unsure if it's something in my games setting as I had played around with them somewhat but didn't touch much due to me being unaware of what some settings functions are. I remember having a similar issue on another visual novel I played several years ago which caused me to not try these kind of games again. Can I please have some help fixing this problem?

Before closing the game go into the main menu.
I had the same problem and doing this prevented lose of saves.
If the problem persists try using "hard" save instead of quick save.
Also make sure you're loading quick saves - quick saves and "hard" saves have both own save "folder"
