I got the email from Faris about Original Sin, but the word, "2000" isn't highlighted. I can't reply back to her. Did I do something wrong?

Is anything at all highlighted in this email? I never played steam edition, maybe some translation issues or something. I heard there is a fan-made patch you might apply, maybe it'll help.

Then you were too late, you need to check the mail before the end of the scene.

I think I might know your problem. If you let more than a few prompts of dialogue pass without checking your messages, the game deems that the message has simply been "ignored", and will not give you the opportunity to respond to this. To fix this, return to a save before you got this message (for the love of Doge, tell me that you make savepoints - if you don't though, just start again and hold down CTRL to skip through dialogue), and the second you get the message, respond. Good luck with that achievement you're aiming for, haha.
